Independence
Rankings are computed from filings and published as-is. Nothing a firm pays for changes its rank, its engagement count, or its badge: firms cannot buy their way in, up, or out. Any sponsored content on this site — such as a labeled featured-firm card shown outside the ranked tables — is marked as sponsored, never mixed into the rankings, and never affects who appears in them. Where a page mixes dataset numbers with editorial judgment — such as the fee ranges in the cost guide — the editorial parts are labeled as such.
401k Audit Scout is not affiliated with the U.S. Department of Labor, the AICPA, or any accounting firm, and nothing here is legal, tax, accounting, or investment advice.
Corrections
Filing data contains sponsor-entered errors, and firm structures change faster than filings do. If a profile misstates your firm’s practice, write to corrections@401kauditscout.com with the affected page and the underlying filings; we verify against the public record and correct in the next build. See the methodology for how firms are identified and counted.
